Butterfly Residence in Bahrain

The recently opened imposing Butterfly Residence in Bahrain has created modern apartments and penthouse suites which leave no wish unfulfilled.  This striking complex is located in Manama and offers a magnificent view over its lively surroundings. The building’s owners selected warm tints and an abundance of glass for the structure’s facade.

The classic turnstile 2.60 m diameter revolving door which provides access to the Butterfly Residence blends seamlessly with the building’s colour scheme. This automatic revolving door controls the constant movement of people in and out of the building as well as protecting against break-ins.

The door is also extremely energy-efficient, acting as an air-lock to prevent any exchange of the interior’s air-conditioned air with the hot air outside as well as excluding the dust and noise of the street. The speed of rotation can be reduced by pressing a specially installed button so that access is easy for older people or wheel chairs.

Working closely with TORMAX, the Dubai-based certified sales partner Union Industries installed the elegant revolving door in just a few weeks.
