BMW and TORMAX in the heart of Paris

In March of this year the BMW Group opened its first BMW Brand Store in the most exclusive district of Paris. The 800 m² “BMW George V“ showroom is located in the Avenue George V and intended to bring the BMW brand closer to the usual shopping environment of affluent Parisians. This flagship store is a master-piece of design by the renowned architect Eric Carlson.

Access to the BMW Brand Store was entrusted to TORMAX France. The extra-large glass sliding door is opened by two iMotion 2401 drives. This “power pack” of door drives immediately impressed all concerned. In spite of leaves weighing 650 kg, the automatic sliding door opens and closes gently and silently.

Further fascinating Brand Stores are already being planned and will be opened later this year in France, the UK, China and the Netherlands.
