A slender thermally separated profile introduces elegance into architecture
Reticent and delicate aesthetics are one of the most important criteria for owners and architects when selecting door profiles in modern facades. TORMAX, the Swiss automatic door manufacturer, has now developed the LR 32THERM, the most slender thermally separated light frame profile for automatic door systems available in the market. With a visual width of only 35mm, the frame never fails to impress with its extremely svelte aluminium design. But it is also distinguished by a very low coefficient of heat transfer (Ud value). Its use significantly reduces heat loss, saves heating costs and is kind to the environment. The outstanding thermal insulation properties of the LR 32THERM light frame profile have already been tested and certified by the famous Bern University of Applied Sciences – Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering. The profile not only meets the standards required by the German Energy Conservation Regulations, ENEV 2009, but also the safety standard DIN18650 and the new European equivalent, EN16005.
The light frame profile is ideally suited for exterior use in conjunction with the elegant TORMAX sliding door drives. Combining these drives with the TORMAX LR 22B light frame profile for internal doors opens up an entirely new range of possible combinations for owners and architects: buildings can now be designed with elegant entrances which are uniformly appealing to the eye when viewed from the inside and the outside. TORMAX therefore offers a way of seamlessly combining the quality of its automatic door systems with ground-breaking architecture, ease of use and security.
